Dogs To Watch – January 30th-31st
RPGTV Romford and Sunderland – Will Aimnfire hit the target?
AIMNFIRE run from T3 in the 9.56 at Romford and he will take all the beating with a decent break – the lightly raced youngster showed good all round pace over course and distance back on the 13th January, with a similar break he will lead round and make all.
Landed at Last (T4) ran well last Friday after a moderate start and rates as the danger. Bishops Wood (T5) was a smart performer back in the autumn and should strip fitter for the recent sprints at Hove and Sittingbourne.
A little earlier on AERO GERRY (T4) should go well in the 8.18 open race over the standard 400 meter trip – the Towcester raider showed decent pace in defeat last time and will be hard to beat if he manages to ping out and lead round.
Macnab (T3) is likely to move towards the rails at trap rise and that should give our selection plenty of racing room into the first corner, holding Move Over Susan (T5) into the bend will make or break the race for Aero Gerry.
DIESEL DENZIEL (T1) looks well drawn in the 9.24 stayers race over 575 meters – the lightly raced son of Kinloch Brae was noted as staying on well recently at Wimbledon over 480 meters, the step up in trip should suit and with a slow starter on his outside he should lead round and make all.
The Mark Wallis trained Aclamon Josie (T4) rates as a danger.
Random Queen (T3) is making her English racing debut tonight and could be anything – look out for market support.
Over at the Sunderland card the best bet on the card is youngster PROSECCO (T4) in the 10.18 A2 race – on Sunderland debut the daughter of derby winner Westmead Hawk showed massive early pace and went clear down the back straight, she was not stopping and recorded 27.72. With a repeat sectional she will take all the beating tonight.
Riada Blue (T5) is a decent sort and rates as the danger.
Moving onto Saturday – Crayford and Newcastle live on RPGTV
Jetstream Reason (T2) will prove popular in the 8.02 hurdle open race but he might struggle to clear the pacey T1 dog and the value could be elsewhere – SAVANA JAYKAY (T5) takes a big step up in class here having previously won a H3 graded race but with a ping break he has a chance.
Take a chance on THREE STAR QUEEN (T3)in the marathon at 8.34 – this will be her first attempt at the distance but she has trialed well and with a decent break she should lead these on the first circuit.
Clounamon Diva (T6) missed the break last week over the six bend trip but should get a nice run into the first bend this week against marathon types – with a clear she’s an interesting runner.
REARGUARD BOND (T2) runs in the 8.50 as preparation for the Ladbrokes Golden Jacket which starts next month – the Henlow raider would take all the beating especially if he pops out and leads round, clearing Painted Craft (T1) into the first corner will make or break the race for supporters.
Mays Petal (T4) is a decent marathon bitch and has shown nice early pace at Towcester recently. Flawless Floyd (T6) is better known as a Romford specalist but would be a danger to all with a ping break.
