Friday – Romford and Sunderland live on Racing Post Greyhound TV
Racing Post Greyhound TV returns to our screens this evening with competitive graded action from Sunderland plus thirteen open races from Romford, all the action is live on Sky channel 212 and freesat 401 from 7.15pm.
The first race to highlight is the maiden stayers race over the 575 meter trip at 8.18 from the London Road circuit Romford. VIEW THE MOON (T1) has been keeping very good company of late over four bends and is sure to appreciate this slight drop in class, the step up in trip however is an unknown, on the bunny the early paced Hove raider will have every chance but he will have to break in best fashion to hold the rails.
Prime Exhitbit (T3) caught the eye in defeat at Henlow recently and the lightly raced son of Slip The Lark rates as the danger to our selection. Farloe Menace (T6) has a decent draw to work from and would be a danger to all if leading out wide.
BOLSHOI BOOZE has won his last three in impressive style and if the middle seed breaks well again he can make all and take the 8.50 open race from T5. The key to the race as ever at Romford will be the break and run into the first corner, lead round and it’s race on.
Who Needs Pace (T1) is better known as a sprinter and is an interesting runner on the rails. Never Your Fault (T6) missed the break last time out over course and distance but the youngster would be a danger to all if breaking in best fashion this evening.
A little later on the 500 Puppies Final takes place at 9.06 over the standard 400 meter trip, our selection for the race is NEVER CRY WOLF from T4, the Jim Reynolds trained son of Flying Stanley recorded a 24.10 clock last time out and there could be more to come from the youngster who has only raced twice since the end of May.
Forwards Winston (T1) won well in the heats last week and rates as the danger from a plot draw on the rails. Pass To Go (T6) caught the eye in defeat last week and could be one to watch in the market, the solo wide seed is likely to attract support on track.
It’s hard to see past ADAGEO BOB who runs from T6 in the 10.40, the 575 meter Romford specialist has been in flying form of late and he will take all the beating as the solo wide seed in this race. Pharisee Flyer (T5) lowered Bob’s colours back on the 26th June and has a chance with a ping break.
Jet Stream Sound (T2) won well at Henlow on Sunday when breaking the 550 meter track record and the early paced railer could be one to watch in the market on six bend debut this evening.
Saturday – Crayford and Newcastle live on Racing Post Greyhound TV
Moving onto Saturday and greyhound punters have two very competitive cards to try and work out with Newcastle and Crayford live on RPGTV from 7.15pm.
The Ladbrokes Summer 714 Trophy Final at Crayford is the main race on RPGTV and consistent six and eight bend performer NELLIE ATTACK is the selection for the race from T2, the local grader has won her last three in good style and looks well drawn to make it four on the trot on Saturday evening.
A little later on look out for COOLAVANNY TULSA from T3 in the 10.11 S4 graded race at Crayford, Tulsa will be making his six bend debut here and could be worth a look in the market. The recent trials over course and distance give our selection a chance and there could be further improvement to come.
Airforce Mojo (T4) rates as the danger, the powerful stayer would be a danger to all if turning in a handy pitch.
Good luck if you’re having a bet on the greyhounds with us this weekend, as ever you can back all these selection over in our daily greyhound betting hub.
