After a poor start to their Champions League campaign Arsenal face a must-win match at home to Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday night.
Defeat in this Group F showdown would see the Gunners fail to qualify for the knock-out stages for the first time in 18 years and although I can’t see them not winning this one, qualification still looks a very tough ask.
BetBright will offer you just 2/9 (which is still the best price in the land) on an Arsenal victory and I believe strongly that they will be far too strong for their opponents, but they won’t be carrying a penny of my money at those short prices.
Arsenal have been hit with a huge injury blow ahead of this one with the loss of key midfielder Francis Coquelin to add to a big injury list, but even without the influential Frenchman, they should have enough to beat Zagreb pretty comfortably in this clash.
The Croatians did pull off the shock of the group so far when they beat the Wenger Boys in the reverse fixture 2-1 but the home side did benefit from Olivier Giroud’s red card in that match and are still one of the poorest travellers in Europe. They can’t be considered even at 41/4 with BetBright.
Odds-on punters have already been let down by the Gunners a few times with home defeats against West Ham and Olympiakos. There were disappointed punters again at the weekend with a 2-1 defeat at West Brom, so I can understand why BetBright customers might swerve them again in this one.
The best bet in the match for me and one that everybody can get involved in is the 5/6 with BetBright on both teams scoring.
The home side have kept just one clean sheet in their last six matches and their opponents have scored in five of their last six games.
With both sides having to go all out for the win, this could be a cricket score!!!
Zagreb are sitting pretty in second place in the Croatian league and warmed up for this clash with a 2-1 win at Slaven at the weekend, with that win ending a losing run of four straight matches.
Even though I do fancy them to score, that’s the best the can hope for on a chilly evening in north London.
With goals very much expected it’s no surprise to see over 2.5 goals at just 2/5 with BetBright, which isn’t a price I want to take either. Although it will probably win, I’m much happier to take a chance on over 3.5 goals at a more workmanlike even money.
This is going to be all out attack from both sides and it might pay to take a closer look at a couple of left-field correct score options. The two I really like are a 4-1 Arsenal win and a 5-1 Arsenal success at 12/1 and 45/2.

Correct Score Arsenal 4-1 @ 12/1
Correct Score Arsenal 5-1 @ 45/2
