Wolves should be too strong for the struggling Bees with home advantage
Well Wolves’ fans can’t say they aren’t getting value for money lately.
Wanderers have scored eight in their last three Championship games. Unfortunately, the defence was challenged heavily at the iPro Stadium against Derby on Sunday and they conceded four times. It would have been worse had Emiliano Martinez not saved a first-half penalty.
It’s a busy time of year in the Championship and the manager will need to utilise his squad thoroughly. Dave Edwards missed the game at Derby but hopefully should be fit to face the Bees. Meanwhile Benik Afobe is still rattling in the goals. He’s scored two in his last three and now has six for the season – we have priced up the England U21 striker at 4/1 to be First Goalscorer against Brentford , with Adam Le Fondre at 5/1 and Edwards at 7/1.
With Wolves in fine goalscoring form lately, you can back them at 13/5 to score 3+ against Brentford. Over 2.5 in our Goals Over/Under market is 3/4 – the last three Championship matches between the sides have produced at least three. That number in our Total Goals betting is 31/10. Afobe to score and Wolves to win 2-1 is 33/1 in our Scorecast market while Wolves/Wolves in the Half Time/Full Time is 7/4.
The match kicks off at 7.45pm on Wednesday, October 21st at Molineux
