Wolves in confident mood as they head to The Valley
Saturday’s victory over Reading got the Festive period off to a good start for Wolves and we have priced them up at 6/5 to follow up at Charlton this Monday in our Full Time Result betting.
It’s been a quick turnaround for Kenny Jackett’s men but they’ll head to The Valley in excellent heart. Charlton have, however, drawn their last three home matches again teams in a similar league position to Wanderers and you can back this match to end all-square at 95/40, though maybe a better bet would be Wolves in our Draw No Bet market at 8/15.
The Addicks needed a stoppage-time equaliser to steal a point at fellow strugglers Bristol City on Saturday but are still in the bottom three. They are without a win in six and have only won four times all season in the Championship.
Wolves are looking up again and the manager must be delighted that James Henry has added goals to his game in recent weeks. Benik Afobe needs some help in that department if his team are to continue heading in the right direction – Henry is 10/1 to be First Goalscorer against Charlton with Afobe at 5/1.
There have been three or more goals in Wolves’ last three away games in the Championship and we have priced up that outcome again at 21/20 in our Goals Over/Under. However, only Preston and Bolton have scored fewer overall than Charlton this term so it may be up to the Wolves’ forwards to get that total over the line.
Wolves/Wolves in our Half Time/Full Time is 47/20 and it’s worth noting that they have scored in the first half of all of their last five matches.
The match kicks off at 3.00pm on Monday, December 28th at The Valley
